This is a 1990 BUNC set. My birth year and by coincidence it has a Large and small 5p and a story of the shilling
Saxon stuff is great ! Apparently there are alot of detector finds up here, I'm not into detecting round here so I don't bother looking ! A guy I met once has kings of Northumbria stuff which I would like, I also want a Britannia emperor Hadrian coin since my town also has a roman fort and I'm a short drive from hadrians wall
Wow C130 Fly for hours and all you see is the ocean then a small island group shows up. It's Tuvalu I have been their 2 times but only on a runway to fuel up coming home from Vietnam .
You'd better believe it! Difficult to be sure as it depends on people's view on grade, as well as which type. (Also being aware that there are forgeries of some of these around.) Assuming all correct I would think Athelwulf would go in the £800 to £1500 mark, and the Coenwulf in the £1000 to £1800 area. (But it would not surprise me if they went for a lot more.) I would love to own examples of either of these, but I do not have the disposable income.
The above dollar didn't seem So bad on the pics still worth having though as it was alot less than melt !
