    Off center strike? I've seen these with pennies but im not sure

    Not a double strike. Typically a second strike would have an image impressed into it on both sides.
    The OP's coin took a nasty hard hit.

    With just the first pic i thought a clip and double strike but second pic definitely makes it post mint damage. Agrees with above .
