Help me grade my 1925 peace dollar.

    Whenever i go to the bank by teller saves me some old coins and today he handed me a 1925 Peace Dollar i was wondering if u could help me grade it and give a value ($). Thanks for your help.

    No idea on grade but WOW, my bank teller hasn't saved me any silver or old bills.. yet

    That's terrific to get it from your bank. Typically, I assume these are the result of a stolen collection or of grandma or grandpa's coins being deposited after they pass. Yours appears AU and would be worth marginally more than its bullion value, which now is approximately $15.29 in silver.

    I would give it an AU-50 with a bit of tarnishing. Definitely a cool find!

    Thanks so much! and with the coin would you say not to take the tarnish off because of the possibility of scratchy the sliver

    I wouldn't mess with it. It's not a high dollar coin where eye appeal will gain you anything. My 1934-S has similar color, and I don't have the guts to mess with it.
