I have this 1973 D cent. The 9 is very different than any other one I have. It looks like a split serif but again I don't know what I'm looking at.

Hmmm...without separaion on the other digits, I would think this one might be tricky lighting. Any chance you could take pictures of the coin from a different amgle?
