Sorry before I think i posted in the wrong section. But I recently found this coin in a box of coins I bought from a auction and I know there is many fakes out there and was just wondering if anyone could tell from pictures whether it was real or not? Thanks

I think you are in the right section, but I don't know if it is fake. I don't know a lot about ancient coins.

 

This is a poor copy of a 1736 8 reales. It should a large silver coin not base metal (looks like a copper alloy)
