Interesting. It's funny because the first thing I look for when there's no picks around is a coin... I've played quite a few times with whatever change I found in my pocket. I don't think I'd do this to anything silver, but a common date clad might be fair game.
If you use it, it'll break your strings. Those should be for necklaces only... to show the chicks how cool you are..... for a coin guy. (Snicker).
A guy ruined one of my Taylor solid bodies with one of those in my studio last year. I was not very happy. Play with a pick or your fingernails.
