I haven't had the greatest luck on PCGS submissions lately, so I really need to make my selections more carefully. Especially on series I'm not very confident in grading. So basically everything but Jefferson's. I'd like to hear some thoughts on this guy.
I'd probably go with 63 or 64. There's a bit of scuffing on Indian's hair and some various nicks across the buffalo's fur. Beautiful coin regardless; and a very strong strike as well!
i Like the coin a lot personally and will have to say i would grade it at ms 65 or 66 also the toning on this coin is amazing and i would say that is a plus to it great coin !!
Beautiful coin Greg , is it slabbed ? The reason I asked is the tpgs are getting scared to give nicely toned coins a grade and detail a lot of coins that shouldn't be .
No it's not slabbed. Trying to get some opinions so I can decide if it should go in. So far I like what I'm hearing. I know what you mean about the toning. That's always a crap shoot that I'm willing to take as long as everything else looks good.
