everybody chill... please. he gets himself in trouble, just ignore him. anyways, subscribe to the 12 monthly issues plus 52 digital weekly.
I like Coin World. Good articles covering US, foreign, and ancient coins. I like how they show what other mints are producing (colorized coins are really popular it seems, ugh) and give tips on grading various series. Detecto, if you want to a magazine full of adds, go find a muscle magazine. The adds are out of control. It's so bad you can't tell if you're reading an article or an add.
I love democracy in America where they have full rights to complain on anything that they don't pay for.
Stupid me, i spend most of my time, and find much of the value, in the ads. I didn't know there was a downside to reading about coins for sale.
I haven't subscribed to coin world since they took out all the ads. It used to be twice as big for a small issue. I liked it for all the ads on where to buy or sell coins. The ads were sometimes great articles in themselves. Anyone remember Littletons Wheat ads?
Yeah...I'm thinking of writing my Congressman because 74.385% of my tv viewing time is consumed by pesky commercials. I'm hoping Detecto will be my spokesman in this grassroots venture.
If he had it his way there would be no commercials, there would be nothing to buy, everything would be given to us, in exchange for work.
I really wanted to read the June 2013 issue but the grocery store sold out in less than a week. I like it a lot, but I haven't been buying it recently. I found the Disney coins coverage very interesting, and I enjoy grading guides and lists of released foreign coins.
