Hi I was getting ready to put this in my spend pile when I noticed that on the collar there is a line that looks like it goes through the tie and continues on. Not sure if I should put in my collect pile so I am reaching out to the pros.
Yes that is where it is if the line continued it would run into the first 2 in the date. I did not know what to call that area lol.
Really need a better pic. If the line curves down it looks like the front of the vest. If it were to go to the 2, it could be a die break.
I think I see something in the first picture. Most likely a small plating blister. That's an issue that occurs on Copper plated zinc cents.
We had one of ours dogs pass away at our house late last night. It was so sudden his heart gave out he was old and lived a good life. The other two dogs know something happened to their brother. It will be a day or two and I will get a better picture thanks.
Thanks so much it is a weird day so far. I still will look at coin talk forums today because I like learning about coins.
I think I am going to put this in my spend pile since it appears not to be anything to keep. Thank you all and thanks paddyman98 for the explanation of it.
If I turn my phone upside down and make your cent larger I believe you have a nice example of a plating blister.
Hi thanks for the comment I have a very stupid question to ask from a very stupid newbie lol. When you guys open the above pictures does it let you enlarge it? I have downloaded Zoom Camera FX hoping to get better pictures of my coins.
