My Manitoba summer has been great so far (even a bit too hot => the forest fires are worse than other years ... or maybe I say that every year?) yup => August 4th I'll be standing on Vancouver Island (home, sweet home) ... sadly, only visiting for two weeks this time around (just touching-base with my dear ol' 90 year old Dad ... still rattling around in the house that he built 60 years ago!! ... yup, the dude is amazing!!)
