That makes 3 now, plus the 71 1DO-001.

This one looks to be either -006 or -008 BUT, it has heavy corrison on the field at the rim, and pity on the field above LIBERTY. I would need to remove the corrison if I'm to have a chance of properly identifying the coin. I don't know what to do. Can I have your opinions please. Thx.

Looks like it might be an 8 to me. Hard to tell for sure with the corrosion.

I beleive so too. The D in GOD doesnt look like it matches the -006. And its definately not the -003, because the date is different.

Agreed. Congrats. I've got the 001 and 002. Would like to be able to find all of them in the wild.

Its been an INCREDIBLE week so far. I hope it doesn't end anytime soon lol. Actually, the count for the week is:

    1 ~ 1971 1do-001
    2 ~ 1972 1do-003
    1 ~ 1972 1do-008

I still have 80 lbs of copper memorials to search again.

Incredible week indeed. Where did you get such a large amount of coppers? I just picked up 8 boxes of cents from the bank which I am guessing weighs close to if not more than 80lbs but obviously it isn't all coppers.

You get a box of 50 rolls of cents, or $25 face value. You can usually get them at the local bank.

so 17 pounds if they were not zincers. so frogs 8 boxes would be more like 136 pounds if pre 82 or 110# post 82, ore somewhere in between. frog is one strong guy if he picks up that and thinks it is about 80# :)

Haha not strong, just terrible at guessing weights. Add 2 boxes of nickels and that's my weekly order. The vault manager is cool and let's me use his cart to haul them to my car. Otherwise my back would be destroyed. I return everything in ziplock bags in a backpack and in plastic grocery bags. I only do half at a time but that can be killer.

Furry, that's all the copper P cents I've accumulated since I started collecting again since January. A lot of it wasn't searched for 1960, 1971 or 1972. I would say atleast half BUT, I didn't keep track of it and mixed up the containers, so now I have to research it all. This coin here was found in that lot, so now I'm going through it again.

Nice. When I started searching I pulled all the coppers and rolled them back up and kept them until I had $200. At that point I decided it wasn't worth holding on to so I dumped them all. Wish I would have gone back through and searched them better. I started looking for 71's after seeing yours. Thanks for giving me one more thing to be looking for lol.
