IMO, over graded and over priced.
F15 at best, about $30.............sorry..

 

On details alone, may I respectfully ask how you came to this conclusion?

 

I don't think I would pay quite that much for it. Details VF cleaned IMO.

 

Liberty is not sharp, wreath details sharp on top weak on bottom, F details. The reverse, motto and feather details F. I, personally would not buy this as very fine. Yes it's a nice looking coin, but it is what it is.

 

I agree it is over priced.

Fair enough, but the details are easily VF. I do agree with you on not buying, but only for different reasons.

This is budget-minded material. Unless you just have to add this very coin to your collection, I suggest that you wait until a superior example presents itself.

 

I would think around $30 at fine condition.

There are a great many coins offered in that range but I am looking for a type coin with great eye appeal.

So you don't think the coin in the OP has enough meat left to reach VF, but this one does?

 

Just on the details (OP), easily VF-20. Possibly even VF-25.

We all are entitled to our opinion, if we all agreed it would be boring.
Having said that, I stand by my opinion.

Worthless. Not the coin, my opinion.

 

I actually like the look of this coin. I think it is a little overpriced and probably cleaned (the stars on the reverse particularly) but i agree with the very fine details.

 

I'm with easj3699 on this on, OP.

I like this coin. It is appealing looking regardless of grade. It is steep though.
