What's going on with this cent on the right?

    Spotted it in my change. Rim seems thicker on the left. Coin on left is just for comparison.

    Pretty sure it's just a MAD, not worth much. I could be wrong though.

    On the '72 and '73 dates the mint used much greater striking pressure - resulting in nice deeply struck coins with high relief. The result is higher rims. Some of the '68s had ampped up striking pressure also. Beginning in '74 they turned down the striking pressure and relief and rims were lower. And nowadays we have really low relief coins with spaghetti hair that will never last as long in circulation.
