Hello all, I have a problem, Im looking for a tube that I can use to put up to 10 eagle silver coins in that are from the mint. What I want to do is take coins out of the box, (ie, eagle proof unciculated, burnished, proofs etc ). They are in the plastic from the mint. I thought the H-40 airtight tube (red cap) would work but their not big enough. I dont really want to take out of OGP plastic holder. Need room for my safe so thought this would free up alot of room as I have many and put boxes in storage , Thanks Jim
If it were me, I would take the coins out of the original plastic capsules and put them into Airtites which would then be put into the red top Airtites tube. I can understand your desire not to take them out of the OGP but in my opinion as long as you handle them correctly and put them directly into new Airtites, you should be fine. Jesse
