Hello everyone, Today I found a really interesting coin and thought it might be worth something (or not). Here's an info about it: Obverse: LVDOVIC: PRIM: DEI: GRA: REX: Reverse: AR: DOM: SLI: ST: E7: FRA: CO: B (":" stands for dots in the middle) On the obverse you can see a dragon or something similar to it. On the reverse there's an old man holding a bar in his hand and a shield underneath him. There are also some numbers on both sides of the man. 15 on the left and 25 on the right (which I guess means the date - 1525, but I'm not sure). Just above these numbers there are 2 letters. S on the left and I on the right. Photos (sorry for bad quality): Obverse Reverse If anyone recognise this coin it would be nice if you could send me some information about it or just write the price here (if it's worth anything). Thanks.
Well I found this at home (I forgot to mention that). I know that my dad used to collect coins back in a day so I asked him about this one but he couldn't remember anything. The coin itself is a bit darker than in a photo though(probably because of flash).
I believe that this coin is modern, with the obverse design copying a Bohemian Silver Grossus. Just because a coin is nice when it is old doesn't mean that it is fake.
Is it suppose to be light or heavy? Cause it feels pretty light. It might be fake, I'm not 100% sure.
