I have about 20 uncirculated 1976 halves that sill have the orange luster on the sides. They're a mix of P's and D's in there. I have about 30 more but they're not shiny anymore. But would these uncirculated ones be worth anything?
I had some really nice ones this past spring and was set up at a coin show. A new collector, who didn't ever have any gave me $1.50 each.
Damn Victor I'm lucky if they will take them at McDonalds. It's rare to be able to sell them. They were made for 2 years so they are very common.
I have more luck selling these at the local flea market. Seventy-five cents is about the average price. That's not too bad, as I replenish my supply from the local bank for face.
