Sorry Paul. No bad intentions here. My "name calling" was out of line, and I was just responding to negativity with negativity. I apologize.

In my mind, there is an undefined "inner circle" which is comprised of people who post here often, have posted for 1 year+, are very knowledgeable, are well spoken, are opinionated, and speak/post with authority. Maybe you don't even know you're part of this special group, but in my mind Lehigh96, gbroke and ~10 others are certainly members. I don't think there is any collusion amongst the "inner circle", but certainly in some cases opinions align regarding a topic like AT/NT. I respect this group, but it doesn't mean I always agree with every post. What it DOES mean is that I place more value /weight on your posts vs other random posters. Someone being cynical might call this group "coin snobs", but to me they've earned the right to be coin snobs, so maybe you guys ought to wear it with a badge of honor, and not get so bent out of shape at every punk trying to make a name for himself calling you out? Regarding being called arrogant/ thinking you are always correct, I'm not sure people should post if they don't actually believe what they are saying is correct. Doesn't every member think their own opinions are 100% correct at that moment?

I do think some of this back and forth is beneath the inner circle, it's a little silly.

Thank you Scott, apology accepted. And if I offended you in any way with my response to your post, then I apologize as well. It is water under the bridge as far as I am concerned.

You have to look at it from my point of view. I have barely posted here over the last 6 months so it is hard to believe that I can be part of an "inner circle". That said, your view of it makes the inner circle seem pretty cool, so now I wanna be a member.

Thanks for a very cool post, I appreciate it.

I thought for sure you would want "jello" shots. How about a Great Falls Morgan Dollar to get this thread back on track.

How about getting back on track with a heavily rainbow toned Morgan:

I think Forsythe has a SDB containing several PR68's and probably a few PR69's of various dates.

Since I joined Cointalk a few years ago, I have received many incredible gifts from other members/friends. When I get a chance to image the dozens of coins, I will start a new thread showcasing all of them.
In the meantime I just wanted to share some of the very generous gifts I have received.
Here are the most recent. The first two just showed up in my mailbox the last few days.

    1961 toned proof Washington quarter.
    From cpb614
I know this came from his dad's collection, and that means a lot to me.

    1965 toned Canada Half Dollar.
    Thanks to Pacecar
From his grandma's collection to mine. She had great taste.

    1976 P Type 1 toned Ike dollar
1972-S blue toned silver Ike proof
    Thanks to coinguy-matthew
I know it's not easy for an Ike nut to just give away Ike's like these.
