1946 S very unusual

    I'm not saying it's thickening or doubling but it is weird. I've been wrong so many times I'm afraid to post here anymore LOL

    Tom, knowledge comes slowly, so questions are a normal part of the the learning process. Most members don't mind questions, and even like to help. Most of the difficulties occur when a member doesn't want to learn, they just want their idea validated, and that is most often the case whenthey do not understand the limits of what type of variation can be be changed by the minting process, and which type are damage that occurred after striking (PMD).

    The owner and administration of this forum stress numismatic knowledge. Stick with it.
