    A nice seller in Portugal sent me this nice Antoninianus of Volusian 251 - 253 AD
    the reverse is Pax. RIC 179[​IMG]

    Cool addition traci. Maybe lemon juice the coin to remove the green? Remember I did it to mine of him last year.

    Decent coin there Ripley. This is one of those emperors that you don't see for sale often, but he's not exactly rare either. I just showed a provincial of his from Antioch and here is the only other I have:

    Volusian AR Antoninianus
    OBV: IMP CAE C VIB VOLVSIANO AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right
    REV: CONCORDIA AVG G - Concordia seated left, holding patera and two cornucopiae
    Struck at Serdica, 251-253 AD
    3.4g, 20mm
    RIC 168 (Trebonianus Gallus)

    Yeah, he is not rare by any means. Aorta has him ranked 79th with 541 known examples of his coinage. :cool:
