I think this coin is quite appealing ...

=> yah, I'm a sucker for an eagle and/or a quadriga ... this had both, so I jumped in head-first!!

    Pontus, Amasia. Severus Alexander. Æ35

    Civic year 228 (A.D. 228/9)
    Diameter: 35 mm
    Weight: 26.18 grams
Obverse: Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Severus Alexander right, seen from behind
Reverse: High altar upon which eagle stands facing, head left; above, Sol in facing quadriga, holding whip; to left of altar, tree

I'm hoping that I can snap one of my infamous stevex6 home-photos that'll make this baby a bit more eye appealing (there is a first for everything!!)

    Thanks Winchild ...

Well, it's Friday after-work and I'm about to go out to the bars with my work-mates ... hopefully things go well (sadly, it's always a bit of a crap-shoot when booze and stevex6 tangle ... my bad)

Hopefully, I will talk to you guys in a few hours (or tomorrow) ... "please" keep your comments comin' in!! (yup, whether they're good or bad, I love hearing your critiques/opinions and even more => I love responding back to you coin-dudes/comrades)

    Cheers

Hey, I'm back, and things went "relatively well" ... I personally think that they went 100% well, but sadly my wife is telling me that I may have accidentally pissed-off the restaurant where we just finished eating dinner ...

    hmmm?? ... I'll keep you posted ...

Yah, but she was laughing about it, so I'm not too worried ... apparently it is merely just another stevex6 moment ...

    ... anyway ...

Bing, I took your advice and we came home before I managed to cause a "ruckus"

Man, "Ruckusx6" should be my middle name

=> on the bright-side, earlier today, I rode my bike 80 kilometers (50 miles), to and from the lake ... so at least I'm an "Athletic Ruckus"

Cheers, fellas ... I hope your world is spinning in the correct direction?!!

Glad all went well; but you are accumulating way too many "middle names":

    Ruckusx6
    Jerry
    By-Guy

    Just to name a few.

I like your Severus Alexander coin as well. The map just adds context. Very cool stuff.

And another huge coin at 35mm/26g. Nicely done my friend!
