The texture of the print on the label looks off, and the printing is crude. However, it is scary,as it is close enough to fool most inexperienced collectors. Reiterate Doug's advice to only buy from reputable dealers--too many good counterfeits out there.
Wow, I wouldn't have noticed this on first glance. But the funny thing is..... I disagree with the grade! Looks nothing like an AU50. Maybe it's time to take a break once I start disagreeing with the grades of counterfeit coins.
Not only that but you would have to have access to the special identifier. If you can get it, then the bad guy will get it too. Duplicating the chip would also be easy enough for a sophisticated group that can also duplicate holograms. Readers of RFID chips are easy enough to get, then you just need to duplicate the code for your fake chips.
