Philippine Resistance notes 1941-1942 -

 

Atomic Bomb note, Signed by the bombardier of the Enola Gay over Hiroshima. Signed around 10 minutes after he pulled the trigger. Written on Jap occupation note.

Brazil: Only Latin American country to send troops overseas.

 

Canadaeclared war on 9/10/1939. Fought under British command. Royal Canadian Air Force made major contribution. Provided strong support on Normandy Invasion.

 

Occupied France: Occupied during most of the war. French Resistance was active and important.

 

Great Britain: Always finding a way to attract attention from the German Luftwaffe.

 

India: Part of British command. Fought in Sudan against the Italians and in Libya against Germany. Also involved in war with Japan.

 

Mexico: 201st Fighter Squadron fought in the Pacific.

 

Norway: Invaded by Germany in 1940. Germany produced heavy water in Norway i their attempts to manufacture an atomic bomb.

 

Philippines: One of the first to be invaded by Japan. McArthur returned in 1944 to free.

United States: Declared war after Pearl Harbor attact. Main priority was defeat of Germany but was the primary force in the Pacific against Japan.
