How to get coins from coin machines

I know this may sound silly, but I have read on here many times about people getting cool coins from coinstar or other machine reject tubes. How do you get to them? Are these people who post up about their find owners of the machines? Is there a button to push to get reject coins to come out? Maybe I just need to go eat some bacon, lol.

Easy - you look in the reject slot of the machine:



See in the centre of the machine - that little dark green slot - that is where the treasure can be found.

 

Really? Wow!

 

Either that or a crow bar.

 

Crow bars aren't gonna cut it...a handful of firecrackers down the coin slots should do the job.

 

People actually just leave coins there?

 

Yes they do. I usually find Canadian coins.
Hmmmm, bacon does sound good!!

 

If they are not paying attention they do, otherwise sometimes they scoop them out and leave them on the machines. Other times I have found silver roosies under the front of the machine where they were dropped to.

 

I came away with $4.17 from a machine in wal-mart just yesterday. Some on top and some in the reject bin. Nothing unusual or rare except for 1 Canadian dime.
