    Many of you may have seen this coin before, as I was able to procure this very nice Denarius from our fellow member Mat, and I wanted to show it off. It is in the best condition of any of hers I own.

    Faustina II AR Denarius
    OBV: FAVSTINA AVGVSTA, Diademed and draped bust right
    REV: SAECVLI FELICIT, throne (Pulvinar) upon which sits Commodus and Antoninus
    Struck at Rome, 161-175 AD
    3.22g, 17mm
    RIC 711 (Aurelius) RSC 190

    that is a very cool coin, the kids on the throne are great...and the letters of the legend are very bold.

    I have been back a few times to see this coin, anyone notice that it looks like the two rulers on the reverse are seated giving eachother a "high five?"
