I cherrypicked this guy today. It is a beauty! It is a 1947S OMM #1. It is an S over D mintmark variety. The die was punched with a D mintmark first and then repunched with a S mintmark. There are two different S over D's for this date. You can tell it is #1 because the S is the San Serif style. It is in beautiful BU condition. To make this nice variety even better it also has been struck through a small piece of wire on the fire of the torch. I just had to share it. Tell me what you think about it?
