Hello, I've been looking around and I haven't actually found a thread for Where's George dollars so I made one. Please post picture of your Where's George dollars. Also if you live in Canada and get Where's Willy bills please post those as well. Also remember to post them on the website.:D

I think the reason for that is that most people on this site don't like to support defacing currency. Every time a bill is stamped any value over face is lost (except in very special circumstances).

funny you should start this thread. Just awhile ago today I looked up on wheresgeorge.com to see if I had anymore hits on the bills I entered. 1 dollar bill showed that it had started out in Vegas and then reached me then off to Wyoming. the last person that entered the bill said "and it smelled like a stripper" I almost fell off my chair laughing. I forget what my Utah rankings on that website is ?. I have entered I think up $74.00 total. mostly 1's maybe 2-3 5's and 1 10 dollar bill. I usually rubber stamp my bills I find with a purple ink Bart Simpson with a verbal balloon saying "peace man" to let others know that I have had this bill. I know currency collectors frown upon defancing the bills this way but since the wheresgeorge stamp is already on there.... I do not see the harm in 1 more stamp on it. I am facinted to see how far a bill has traveled and how long it has taken to get there.

At eurobilltracker.com we have had quite a few discussions about whether entered notes should be marked/stamped. Seems that the more obvious or visible the stamp is, the more likely it is (at least over here) that the note will be taken out of circulation. All I do is place a tiny pencil dot in a corner of every note I have entered.

Interestingly, some have recently started stamping the old style €5 notes, as those will gradually "disappear" anyway. Don't know whether that has brought EBT any new trackers so far. ;)

Probably all Where's George Dollars were not worth anything more over face value to begin with.

I would think not worth anything unless they star notes

I thought I could buy the whersgeorge.com rubber stamps to stamp my own bills for cheap HA! they go for $150-200 heck no that's way to much for a rubber stamp.

Some people write on them. Instead of stamping them you know.

You can buy the rubber stamps at lots of different places starting at around $13.00...

$150-$200 for a rubber stamp is like throwing money away.

Precisely. If you want a custom stamp with circular writing around the FRB seal like some that I've seen, you can get one for about $30.

cool thanks. I have not done research on the current stamp prices. I just remember them going for that price about 2-3 years ago. I do like the circular stamp going around the seal but the are hard to spot unless it is stamp using a pink or red ink.
