But in his defense, his coin is fever blistered. Mine is crisp. I need a digital scope :)

    Nice wide AM.
Pretty sure what you are seeing in terms of doubling is part of the design.

Then I have a nice example, can you link me with a pic to the design? I have been having trouble finding a good image on the net. Thanks!

Look at a 1998-S since the "Proof Reverse" is what the 1998 Business Strike coin is anyway.

Thanks for making sense of that post. I can see now where the comma was left off between wife and doesn't which completely changes how the statement is read.

Pretty sure I don't have one. Can you link me up with a photo on the net?

Make sure you are sitting down when you read the next sentence. I had already searched but did not find what I have on this coin. I too a pic from here http://images.pcgs.com/CoinFacts/72935363_2200.jpg and added what I see in mine. Anybody got a scope they wanna lend me for short while?

OK, but what do we say about that extra stuff?

if you have to have a microscope to see something then it is not worth keeping . you will find more and better errors by going to the bank and getting lots of rolls and go thru them fast looking for the good ones. anything higher than a 10x jewlers look will bog you down and cause you to see thing that are not even there. I have told folks this many times on the talk forums , some listens and some don't.

why waste all day on trivual things that will never be worth anything?

If you read closely, in this thread and elsewhere you will note that I use a 10x loupe. I did not "have too have" a scope to see this, nor anything else I have presented here @ CT- here to fore. The scope was to image it so I could share it. That fact is especially obvious in this thread.

In the scope image it looks just like it does to me with the loupe - As per usual. I can't even imagine how tedious it would be to search with a scope. So, back to the coin if you would do me that favor... is that extra or does someone have a photo of it "as it should be" because so far I can't find that. Thank you for your support!
