Anyone going to FUN in Orlando this week?

I won't be at the summer FUN. I almost always go to the January FUN. This last January it coordinated nicely with a Holland America Western Caribbean cruise so we got to do a cruise & a great coin show. I guess I'll see you all in January 2014.

I had planned on going to summer FUN this year, as I have for the last 2 years.
Unfortunately, we only arrived in the US on the first day of the show, and I did not have the courage to ask my family to first drive to the Naples area, and only a few hours later onto to Orlando. Just too much driving, specially will all being tired after a long flight, and with jet lag to boot. Oh well, it will have to wait until new year. I did enjoy it the last two years, specially looking at what the copper dealers in attendance had to offer.

 

Just booked my stay at The Rosen Plaza Hotel. This is the one on International Drive. Again, for five nights starting Wednesday 01/08/2014; $114 + $14.25 tax: per nights stay. Plenty of things to do in the evening that are within walking distance of the hotel. I used the shuttle from the airport and found no need to rent a car. One night I did use a cab to go to and from City Center at Universal Studio. It was not that expensive as I recall.
