1944-D With Fin Cud. I found this in change as a kid in 1960-64??? I still do not know how the copper stayed on the coin till I put in a slip.
Sorry redwin. This thread is for LINCOLN CENTS only. You should try posting it over on the "Post your 11 cent pieces!" thread.
Recently ROBEC Images has been photographing my #1 ranked NGC 1958-Date Lincoln Memorial registry set. This is one of the few PGCS coins in my set and the only CAC verified coin. I purchased this coin about 2 years ago for just over $900. Not too bad since the last PCGS MS66RD+ example sold by Heritage Auctions 10/12 went for $1763 and the last 3 PCGS MS67RD example sold for $9600, $10,575 and $8225 all within the last year. Not sure if I will ever be able to upgrade this one so needless to say I am very happy with this example.
Campaign token promoting Lincoln for his first election in 1860: Civil War Token/Campaign Token for his 1864 election:
nope.. don't sweat it,, I would have probably missed that one too. Top is MS64, the bottom is AU58. I really thought the AU58 would have come back lower MS... one of them tweeners i guess.
Another very nice image from Robec Images of my NGC MS67RD 1973D with current NGC population of 6 in this grade with none graded higher
Another very nice image from Robec Images of my NGC MS67RD 1972 Lincoln Memorial. This one has an exceptionally nice strike and pristine surfaces on the reverse with almost flawless details. On the obverse there are a few contact marks with nothing being majorly distracting. I just think this coin has some nice eye appeal
