I've read the past where some of you have sold coins at a flea market and had some good luck with what most of us collectors would consider more "common" pieces, such as dollar coins, $2 bills, etc. I may have such an opportunity coming up soon so I'm wondering if you can share what kind of items sold well for you and what kind of prices you asked. I may offer a few more numismatic items too if I can part with them, but more common items might be a nice way to fund my hobby a bit.
2 dollar bills from 1976 are great sometimes you can get people to pay 4 dollars for them also eisnhower dollars can be good for 2 dollars !! people will also buy bags of common wheats for more then thier value !!
i haven't sold at a flea market but OHH have i bought i always get great deals, standing liberty quarter in VF+ condition for $5, a $60 Connecticut copper for $1, etc. those places are most of the time the best to buy and sell at
