I traded Mat one of my RR coins for this very nice denarius of Severus Alexander. It arrived in the mail a short time ago.

    Severus Alexander Denarius
OBV: IMP ALEXANDER PIVS AVG, Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right
REV: SPES PVBLICA, Spes advancing left, flower in right, with left raising skirt
    Struck at Rome, 232 AD
    3.3g,19mm
RIC IV 254, RSC III 543

P.S. Of course, I wanted to start a thread so I could see how difficult or easy the process. So far it seems much easier.

Nicely played Bing ... you traded your "double" for a sweet Sev-Alex denarius (I'm sure that both of your are quite satisfied by the trade, eh?)

... well played, brothers (well played)

    :)
