1849 $1 GOLD, PCI certified value??

    2007 Red Book says $265 in that condition.

    Not based on that picture, no. PCI is known for overgrading coins so without being able to see the coin well enough to grade it properly, determining a value would be difficult. But if we were to assume that the proper grade for the coin was say XF45 - AU50 - then value would be about $240.
