I have a quarter that appears to be solid nickel. the weight is very close to quarter weight@5.6 grams there is no copper to be seen in the core. Anyone see a New Jersey quarter like this?

There were a lot of lead quarters in the 1960's. What is the year on the coin.

Thanks folks for your help with the quarter. I was lucky enough to find a "Spoot" 1863 Civil War token locally at a flea Mkt. it is a brass civil war token with the spelling Error " If Anybody Attempts to tear it down.. shoot him on the Spoot". They are still out there to be found. Goodluck !
