    (1) Did your mother get this coin in 1965 ? If she has it before 1965, it could have been made and sold in 1909, at a museum gift shop, in lincoln home town.

    Hello..Just passing by. Those look to be engraved. Just a thought. I would check with exonemia experts. It is not known to me as a mint coin. It certainly is striking and may be valuable. Tony67

    Very nice piece, its so odd that I cant find any information on this piece other then it may be cast in Bronze. I found similar items on the Internet,same look but seem to be much newer, some with a copper or gold look, there all called Medals, selling for around $45.00 to $67.00 each but still, these may be remakes and yours may be original. I will keep looking and keep you updated of any info found. Please hold on to it till you learn everything you can about it.
