i bought these medals back in 1978, one is of the gadsden flag with a verse on the back, the other is of the flag raising on iwo-jima. on the edge of both reads, nat'l flag foundation, 1968, 24k.g. e.p., on sterling first edition, i have never seen another set like them anywhere. and can not find them on the inter-net. could you tell me if there is any value to them? wanting to sell. thank you,
Well, I haven't seen them before, but if the edge lettering is true, then they are at least worth their weight in silver. Good luck!
i haven't seen anything like that on the internet either. i would say that they are worth a bit, but i'm no specialist.
