This is my third AR denomination from this series. It was only a couple months ago that I showed the tetradrachm and I had a fourree stater since 1992. Now I have a 1/6 stater or diobol according to the seller's ID but I have not followed through on that yet. I believe the smallest is the rarest. Poseidonia used the figure of Poseidon an most of its coins and abbreviates the city name in archaic Greek right to left with the sigma on its side. Under the bull is a barley corn. For such a small coin (1.16g) I am impressed at the presence of the trident.

This was a surprise win for me since it was listed on Frank's last minute 'Going Cheaply' list which should encourage someone to overbid my bargain hunter bid. No one wanted it.

Thats a cool coin, with a great trident. Can't go wrong with something "going cheaply." This is pretty unusual I don't think I have ever knowingly seen it before.
