    [IMG] to CoinTalk Jaskaran.

The picture isn't clear enough to tell, but if the head is wearing glasses it is Thai.

I think you have an extremely worn Thai Baht, or possibly a 50 Satang.

What is the size? Similar designs were used on different denominations in that style.

Are the new pictures more clearer, is the mans head on the coin supposed to be blurred and nothing on it?

You need to crop out all the background table, etc., so that the coin will appear large enough to show its details.
That's a result of wear. As originally minted his features were distinct, including his eyeglasses. The bust is of King Rama IX.

Look at the picture in Mikjo0's link, which is clearly a mint state coin. Some varieties of Thai coins are differentiated by the number of medals on the King's chest.

Although all 883-million+ of that coin are dated in the year 2505 of the Thai calendar (1962) they were minted through 1982.

Sad to say, the one pictured has esentially no numismatic value, as the Standard Catalog of World Coins values the coin at only 10¢ in VF, and I would grade thiis one AG to G-4 at best. [IMG] Even the one Mik showed is cataloged at only 50¢. The coin is very common, and one in the condition shown in Mik's link is cataloged at only 50¢.

In case anyone is curious about the year shown on the coin, the Thai calendar dates from the death of Lord Buddha in 543 BC. The current year is 2549 BE (Buddhist era).
