Hey guys I'm new here and recently got involved in collecting pennies casually just filling my books ect. I bought a box of pennies from the bank and I found this in one of the rolls and was wondering if it had any value. I know the reverse does appear to be scratched off and it for sure has some dings on the back but it is smooth to the touch; making me think this could be value as a blank with a 1971 s date on it. Let me know what you guys think, thanks in advance!
If you know anyone who was born in 1971, take a moto-tool or engraver and practice some artwork and give it to them. They will value it much higher, and you will have gained an experience.
Thanks for the advice, unfortunately I don't know anyone who was born then. I'll probably keep it in my junk drawer because I still think it's cool regardless of it's value.
