I found this coin while sorting through some wheats that I found lying around the house. There are a couple of areas on the obverse that obviously aren't "normal." I'm looking for opinions as to whether these were caused by a defective die or if the coin has been damaged somewhere along the way.
Looks like a few lamination errors. These occur due to impurities in the alloy of the planchet. :thumb:
In that case, my next question is, will it command a premium, and if so, what are some estimates on that?
