1973 D strange phenomenon

    I am at a loss to explain how the 3 got split/smeared and the 7 got cut off at an angle... any ideas?

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

    Trying to determine what caused that damage is an exercise in futility.
    Just accept that it is damaged and put it back into circulation.

    Yes I will put it back in circulation. I have a couple of more 1973's with the same type of damage. I'll keep looking...Thanks guys
