Just picked up this Morgan dollar for a really good price and I was wondering if you all could grade it for me. I know the pictures aren't the best, but it's the best I could do with what I've got for the time being.

    Thanks!

58 views and not one guess? Don't be afraid to let me have it, I know it's not in the best shape!

does not look as if it is a weak strike, possible wash with water or alcohol, I'd say F-12 to 15 at best VF-20 but I'm not going that far

Thanks! I paid under melt for it, so I am not too broken up about the cleaned part.

Don't take this the wrong way when I say it, I mean it with the utmost respect- No duh!

I bought this coin for less than melt so I am not to sad about it. Having said that, yeah an MS69 would have been much better!

I am not offended and if you do get an ms 69 morgan send it through heritage or stacks or another top self house.i hope you and your son have much success in your collecting.
