Is this storage method enough?

My coins are stored as follows:

Individual mint specialty sets in OGP which includes encapsulation.

Series sets in Dansco albums with slip cases and inserted into zip lock freezer bags.

All of the above are in a water proof/fire resistive safe with one large electrically rechargeable dessicant pack.

I concerned about discoloration over time. I have a humidity controlled house.

Would putting in individual dessicant packs into the above provide any significant added protection?

    Thanks!

Does that OGP also include the outer cardboard box, or velvet lined box, that these sets usually come in ? If so, then you need to remove those.

I have always recommended against using any kind of album or folder for coins because albums and folders have resulted in damage to more coins than probably any other storage method. But if the look of the display means more to you than the best possible protection you can offer, their your coins, have at it.

Would it help ? Sure, but it would be significant ? Not likely.

humidity is the worst enemy of coins. you have that covered. I'm with GD, the albums may be what you have to worry about. check the thread about albums for ideas.

A fire-resistant safe with an electrically charged desiccant pack inside of it seems like one hand fighting the other. In my opinion, you are engaged in overkill that may not be as productive as you hope. Take the coins out of the OGP and store them in their government capsules in a Zip Lock baggie. If you hate toning then you want to ditch the Dansco albums and will need to use something else.
