Most EF and above examples of this date encountered raw will likely have been harshly cleaned, so you must decide if you can accept a coin like this in your collection. With that said, the asking price is quite high IMO and I doubt you will enjoy owning such a piece. I suggest that you hold off and wait until a suitable graded example shows itself. Keep an eye on the big auction houses and bid strong; it is not that uncommon to find the very same coins end up in larger dealer inventories (often at substantial markups) afterwards. Regardless, if you want an example to enjoy for years to come, throw the CDN in the trash and pay up for quality.
Looks as if someone worked on it to remove spots in the fields. AT to hide the cleaning. Not something I would buy but it probably looks better than it did.
