http://mycurrencycollection.com/reference/stars/lookup You can use this link to look for the mintage of ur star note, usually 640,000 or less is considered rare
Star notes that are less than 30 years old won't really have a resale value. they are to new and you can probably go to a bank and find them for free. Even if they have a book value listed, you will find no interested collectors for them. They are just too numerous and to easy to find. However, if you want to keep them yourself, eventually as they are slowly worked out of circulation, they begin to trade in the market. You just have to be patient and wait it out.
The $100 is from a print run of 1,920,000. Not scarce unfortunately. According to the Azpiazu book, Choice Crisp Uncirculated condition book value is $150. Usually book values are 20-30% higher than market values. So perhaps $125 if it's graded and you find a willing buyer. After grading and auction fees, you won't make much and might even lose money. Unfortunately there's not much demand for these notes because they are easy to find in circulation. The crease will keep it from being uncirculated and any premium it may have is lost. The $10 is from a print run of 1,920,000 as well. The same applies to it as well.
