Looks like another run of the mill grading comapies has pop'ed up on Ebay...this guy sure has alot of them, might even be the owner of the company---think abou that :mouth: :whistle: :whistle:

I get this funny twitch when a selling point is that the slabs themselves have 'eye appeal'. Wouldn't that just make my coin jealous?

 

You would think the owners/graders of the service would at least disclose their names if they wanted to look like a legitimate business.

if his grading is close and he wants to make money at it, why is he getting picked on?? buy the coin not the service!!!we all a buy and sell coins based on our grades if he was to slab them then go for it! again if is close and you agree on the grade who care what slab its in, buy the coin a crack it out if you dont like the slab!!

I do by slabbed coins from the top 3 sight unseen, but I have trust in them!!Maybe this guy is on and will be trusted unlike NTC. ect

You need to give a class to these new grading companies on how a professional looking slab should look .

Excellent point. He does need to be careful though. If he gets too good, and gets too many customers and fans, NGC and PCGS could cause him to be banned from the bourse at major shows.

 

Probably just as good as any other...I find it more funny that people seem to think any of them are worth damn or any better than a couple collectors who know their stuff...Hell, Some of us should get together and start one, why not...bet people here could grade a coin just as good as anyone at any of these places...just like this place can probably grade a coin as well as anyone...
