This was an article included in the latest PCGS newsletter: http://www.pcgs.com/news/commemorative-coins-without-limitations

In it, they suggest that it won't be that long before the Mint starts making commemorative coins that are less limited in subject than they are today, and go on to mention honoring famous inventors (among others) such as Ford and Steve Jobs and then suggest putting a Ford logo or an Apple iPhone on a coin honoring them.I

I like the concept of thinking outside the box for coin subjects, such as the Baseball commemorative they're working on, but I think I have to put a limit on coins with corporate logos on them. That would go too far for me. I hope this never goes to that level.

    What are your thoughts?

How about commemorating 'Crayola' with a colorized coin?

Corporations and CEO's don't belong on coins.

Yeah, why not? They already own Congress.

Exactly! They own the government now, it's just a matter of time before they honor themselves on coins.

I hope they make one commemorating Carroll Shelby. He deserves it for sure.
