First off, I am a noob, so never mind what I say. To me, it looks like the lowest part of the lobe is where the ear would normally end, so there is a dent above that.

My pleasure. One thing I look at is a line from the bottom of the lobe to the top of the shirt collar, the hair is above that line and below that is neck. If that isn't the case then I look closer.

    Here's what the 1984 double ear looks like, I own three of them, two of them have the marker, under Lincolns chin A004 - 20130510_051402 (2).jpg A012 - 20130227_093725 (2).jpg A015 - 20130325_072217 (3).jpg

Their all double ears, my microscope only take photos to 250x after that, it starts to distort, heres the photos of the markers under the chin on the two that have it A001 - 20130510_050649 (2).jpg A016 - 20130227_094348 (2).jpg

Heres a photo from pcgs, the marker is a ball under the chin, if you go on 1984 Cent DDO detail large.jpg some of the error grading companies don't even talk about the ball under the chin for a marker

Sorry Rick, still not seeing it in your pictures. The doubling isn't the same.

You may have the 'markers' but I don't see the doubled ear on yours.

I don't think they are the doubled ear.

That doesn't match the PCGS example above.

When they get back for grading, then I'll repost them, heres some photos of the ear with no saturation, or color A005 - 20130510_051520 (2).jpg A013 - 20130227_093936 (3).jpg A016 - 20130325_072237 (3).jpg

I don't see it either. The second ear is rather bold. It should show up easily.
