    That's pretty neat that you found it in a penny roll. and it's not that bad condition.

    I can't tell if the splotches on the coin are corrosion/stains, or if the coin has been replated...

    What do you look for to tell if its replated or not

    Does the edge have the same finish as the faces?

    The blanks were punched from sheets of zinc plated steel. They had no zinc on the edges.
    Coins with zinc on the edge have been replated after leaving the mint. Replating is damage.
