Can't see what's going on with the S. Have a close shot of just the S?

    1) certainly not a gem
    2) I see nothing w/ the S.

So you must have found a new variety? I can't find an s/s/s RPM anywhere. Here we go again. Too bad it isn't one of those SW pointing 3's on top of that triple RPM.

Treashunt : I' am going to give you what you want some attention ! Well if you see nothing weird with the s mintmark you obviously don't know what to look for or where to look at "IJS" for fact that anyone with semi experience can see that the s differs. Now the clarity of the mintmark itself in the images may not show as clearly as one would like but that s is prego with a s protruding 3 o 'clock the mintmark .. But I will post better pics of the mintmark request of Jim a true expert and teacher.:hail:

Is it a boy or girl? Send it my congrats. :smile

Seriously though, I don't see an RPM. I see evidence of a deeper punch of the mintmark into the die, but no repunched mintmark.

    Stop this now!

For the record , my opinion that: (1) it is certainly not a gem, especially with the dings on the rim and the surface disturbances , and (2) If there is any thing going on with the "S", I can not see it in these photos. My initial reaction was no, so it has to be something more visible. So these opinions which are very similar to what Treashunt said. The "S" mintmark as has always had a much higher share of chips and die deterioration due to its natural shape, compared to the Denver "D", especially on small coins.

Do not react so personally to those who disagree with your analysis. The rule of the forum is " You can trash the coin, but not the members". It is our ball, so play within , or ... AND for those who keep bringing up past posts outside of the current subject, stop that also, it smacks of stalking and harassment.

There are many who post and wait for agreement of their analysis to run to ebay, despite all of the negative ones, or tries to get approval for purchases when they are not what was claimed. Denial stacks on the reputation of individuals. People need to get knowledge themselves and earn rights from it.
    Thank you,
    Jim

    Another of those:

    "as anyuone can see?"

    Well, I can't
And I certainly don't need your attention.

You ask a question, I responded.

I guess that you are the king, and I ain't.

But, for a Double(D)dieking, you don't know a doubleD die

without beter photos it is impossible to say for sure, but I don't see anything. You also need to take into consideration that abnormalities in the palting of the '43 Lincolns sometimes look more significant than they are. Please post close ups of the mint mark for s more precise opinion.
