Let's see coins you received for Father's Day, or purchased for yourself (with Father's Day as the excuse).

    Here's mine:

Here is mine. Nothing super special, but still a nice ASE. I have my eye on one more piece for my 7070 that I may grab today if the price stays in the ball park :)

This is from last year. My daughter, along with my 2 grandsons, purchased some of the coins on line and others from a coin shop. She selected the coins based on specific years. 1973 was her birth year, 1980 my son's, 1995 my first grandson, and 1998 my second. She also picked a few in 1952, my birth year. She hot glued a small magnet on the reverse of each coin and bought a cork board with metal backing. She added some old photos of me, her, and the grand kids when they were babies. She spent a lot of time and thought in this project and I could not have been more proud. Before I had a chance to say anything about her damaging the coins( gosh, one was a proof 1973 Kennedy) she presented me with a duplicate, unaltered copy of each coin and a gift certificate to my favorite LCS. What a great gift! Can't wait for her visit later today.

Picked this up yesterday for myself. I used Father's Day as the excuse.

Happy Father's Day then! It's a great excuse and a beautiful Saint Gaudens.

    Father's Day present

The wife gave me a small check payable to cash & I went to the coin show on Father's Day. :) I traded the check for these two Bronze Roman coins.

These two Roman coins are relatively high grade (EF) and IMO they are easy on the eyes. This is how I have them attributed so far:

    DECENTIUS Caesar 351-363 AD
    AE1 (24 mm diameter)
    Similar to Sear #4036
Obv: DN DECENTIVS FORT CAES Bare headed simple draped bust facing right.
Rev: VICT DD NN HVG ET CAES Two victories standing facing each other holding between them a shield
(VOT - V - MVL - X) in the shield, FSAR in exergue.

    CRISPUS Caesar 317-326 AD
    (Son of Constantine)
    AE3 (19 mm diameter)
    Similar to Sear #3918
Obv: IVL CRISPVS NOB C Laureate head facing right
Rev: CAESARVM NOSTRORVM Laurel wreath around (VOT - X), HSIS in exergue.

Several of these letters are illegible on my examples but the Sear book allowed me to fill in the blanks. :)

It's missing the shelf and has a few scuffs, but we got it for a great deal because we were willing to pick it up. :D
